My creative life work has been centred around creating 2 & 3D art forms that seek to create impact. My Huguenot forebears have all been artists for hundreds of years – silversmiths, clockmakers, engravers, photographers, even an official war artist – and it’s in the blood.

As a young art student, Magritte, Dali and others powerfully showed me that it was ok to think differently, to think in creative riddles, to be yourself.

The more I artistically mature the more I have the confidence to open up. ‘TeneT’ is an example where I’m taking my personal experience with a close family member’s Dementia to inform how I want people to reflect on those with troubled minds and explore the mindscape.

I am not tied to any medium. My work spans sculpture, installations and photography, working within the commercial, public and charity sectors. I am honoured and artistically inspired to have established a name for working in the field of memorialisation, perhaps most notably in creating the RBLI’S Tommy figure. My focus is always about the concept; how best to turn my deep research from thought to sketch to effective reality.

I am driven by one straightforward mantra; I make, you think.
