Echoes II
Echoes II is a solid aluminium interpretation of my larger work Echoes I, installed permanently on the Dover waterfront, commissioned by Royal British Veteran Enterprise.
Echoes I was inspired by the acoustic mirrors built nearly 100 years ago that still dot the south-eastern coast of England, listening devices that predated and helped shape the development of RADAR.
This artwork is designed to sit quietly on a table or plinth, taking in all the sounds around it and reflecting, visually, everyone who passes by.
I hope it helps those seeing cause for reflection, in every sense.
