Client: Boehringer Ingelheim International Agency: GREY Germany

Boehringer Ingelheim, the international pharmaceuticals group, needed to launch an updated set of corporate values to staff and customers worldwide, without losing the strength and continuity of the set it was replacing. The solution was a series of balloon sculptures, each built to embody one value: a heartbeat for care, a heart for passion, a DNA helix for science, a globe for sustainability, and a cloud for innovation.

Each sculpture was built by hand on a steel armature, then photographed in a single dramatic industrial space in London. The brief called for something that felt genuinely alive, bold enough to carry a major global employer brand campaign, while staying warm and human. The heartbeat sculpture alone stretched nearly eighteen metres across the space.
